[Aktuelle Stimmung |Locked Up]

This journal is friends only. I will every once in awhile leave some posts public, but mostly because they're not really too personal or anything. Comment to be added.

[Ich höre |Offspring - She's Got Issues]

I eat way too much Sushi for the average American. I'm turning into my aunt. She was the one who got me hooked on this stuff =). And what's crap is that I got soy sauce on my Tux in Japan shirt.

Note to self: No more driving at night until you go to the optometrist and get a new prescription for glasses/contacts. Because reading the signs really helps. (PS. You can still drive during the day, I have no problem then).

The Winter of Our Discount Tent [Okt. 16., 2005|08:08 pm]
[Aktuelle Stimmung |woo!]
[Ich höre |M.I.A. - Galang]

I'm feeling better. =). But I heard Hee Jung was at homecoming last night!!! I would've gone for her!! GR. Me and Jeincy are going to visit her up in Maryland one day, and then we'll abduct her and keep her in our basements. She'll have to cook us Korean food if she ever wants out!

My AP Composition book is strange. I don't think I've ever read anything that references The Winter of our Discount Tent AND Tequila Mockingbird. It's made for college students, so all is good. I got stuff from GMU's Engineering and Computer Science department! Probably because I asked the counselor-woman for upcoming Civil Engineering/Computer Science things going on. It was just surprising that it came from GMU, since they're on top of my Virginia-list. =). I'll probably go for the little presentation. Cooligkeit!

"Zubereitung: Die Fleischwurst aus der Haut lösen, längs vierteln und in etwa 2cm dicke Scheiben schneiden. Speck würfeln. Zwiebeln abziehen und in feine Spalten schneiden. Sauerkraut fein schneiden. Das Butterschmalz erhitzen und Speck und Zwiebeln darin anbraten."

Preparation: Remove the skin from the Fleischwurst, cut along the corners and in about two centimeter thick slices. Cube the pork. Take out the onions and cut into fine vertical slices (translated as "columns"). Cut the Sauerkraut finely. Heat lard, pork, and onions until the insides are brown.

[Ich höre |Orishas - Naci Drishas]

Just got finished watching TAR. I've been watching it pretty much every night. It's really cool. Tonight they ended in Agra/New Delhi, India. Now, I've seen the show go to India in many other seasons, but none were like this. They portrayed India the right way. They showed a scarier side of the place. The teams were not ready for these people who didn't speak their language and the kids. OH. The kids. The kids would just drag themselves onto the contestants asking for money. And there's this shot of a tiny kid, couldn't've been older than 6 holding a baby walking down a highway to the travelers. And the teams were frantic, and I don't blame them. It's hard enough for them to do that stuff on very little sleep and extreme jet lag, but to do it in extremely populated India, yeah. It's hard. It was just a huge difference from when TAR7 went to India and the people loved all the teams and were helpful and really really nice. It was strange. Maybe it was that they were in a different place.

I should get kicking on these damn AP projects and GET TICKETS TO FUCKING CALIFORNIA.

Liebe Beate,

Auch, Ich habe "Good Bye, Lenin" gekauft! Hast du es gesehen?

mit freundlichen Grüßen,
Richard Julian.

Apparently I finished a good amount of things today. Aside from Hitchhiker's Guide, I also finished Metroid: Prime (for the Game Cube). It was a pretty good game. I didn't think I was anywhere near finishing though. Oh well. I finished. I'll go back on hard now.

Off to sleep.

[Aktuelle Stimmung | excited]
[Ich höre |Moby - South Side]

So, Today, I'm off to california. Will be there until next monday. I hope to finish my English assignment on the plane rides. Maybe get some headway through 1984 and/or learn some chinese. English definitely comes first though. Uh. I'm so excited to get there. It's going to be great seeing everyone :). My plane has a layover in Dallas and then we go on to beautiful sacramento to rent our SUV and drive to Grass Valley (it'll be around 12:30 AM when we get to Grass Valley). Apparently, I'm not traveling alone like last time. I'm probably going to think of these flights as so short ever since being on Germany (and I even thought those were pretty short).

Good travels to me!

Damnit, I'm addicted to this song and TAR again. Peru was just so cool looking.

Day 5 [Feb. 28., 2005|06:28 am]
[Aktuelle Stimmung |snowy.. but not..]

oooh. 5 Day weekend. Yeah. It snowed again last night. Though this time there is barely enough snow to even lightly cover anything (I can still see the grass) and Spotsy still cancelled. Oh well. If we don't go tomorrow it'll start to be more of a hassle.

Oh and I doubted that we'd get out of school again.. so it happened... again. Anyway, [info]souldruidkazeko brought me this very funny rendition of Badgerbadgerbadger: PotterPotterPotter: A snape A snape ooh it's a snape..

This is the side of our house. Usually everything is grassy here and behind it there is grassy field (which should be used for cows) behind it.

Our front yard. Yeah. Completely covered. Woo.

This is the back part of our house. I just took a picture of the tree because I could.

Uh. I took these pictures really early this morning, it's snowed alot since. We've also had snow plows come and plow our road. Yeah.

[Ich höre |Rammstein - Tier]

Erg. Didn't get to sleep until 3 AM last night. Then sister woke me up at like 8. Oh yeah, I'm feeling awesome. I was up playing Yahoo games with Teresa and helping her with her computing needs. I was supposed to go get a haircut today, but I don't feel up to it so I'll have to wait until next week. It's not too bad yet.

[Ich höre |Rammstein - Reise, Reise]

Thanks to Terraserver, I can now show where I moved from and to. The red dot thing is where I live(d).

I moved from West Sacramento, California.

and a close up of my house (in the black square.) [info]givemehistory and [info]gadgetgirl6 have been to this house and of course, the all-time best cousin [info]yeah_rose.

and where I live now. Now, this picture was taken when there weren't any houses there. Just imagine a house where the red mark is (my house) and about four more houses on the corners near the water.

Rammstein's new single looks very cool. I probably won't buy it, but the whole "Keine Lust" soundtrack looks quite appealing. I can't wait for the video either. I wonder what the surprise is. Will Till be fucking large animals like the song suggests, or will he just be staring at that. By the looks of the CD cover (refer to right), it seems we shall be seeing a great amount of Große Tieren. Ah Rammstein, you will never not surprise me.

Anyway, onto my life. Erg. I was swomped with work tonight and I unfortunately came down with slackeritous. Everyone's been thinking "oh we're going to get some fresh powder tonight!" nope. Sorry, not going to happen. We had the two hour delay today and the early dismissal yesterday. I don't think so. Well, Megan and I shall be going to the Movies on Saturday or something. Don't know what we should see. Anyone have any suggestions.

--Edit: Sometime later; Wow guys. I swear, I'm a native speaker of English.. oh wait, that's not much reassurance. I know how to write grammatically correct, ok? Ok.
